Varioscreen Conservatory Awning

A retractable tensioned fabric awning or pergola.

A retractable fabric shade in a lightweight frame ideal for large spaces.

The Varioscreen Retractable Sunroof features a lightweight frame and fully retractable fabric to provide shade protection to glass atriums, skylights or existing pergolas. This dynamic system delivers sun protection on demand then retracts into a streamlined head box. Using a counter tension system, the Varioscreen can be installed in larger spaces up to 6m wide and 6m projection. Uniquely, the Varioscreen system can be installed at any angle or slope making it very versatile. With a multitude of fixing options including above and below glass or side fixing to exiting walls, it can be customised to most situations. The Varioscreen Conservatory Awning’s fabric is extended by integrated positive lift (power spring mechanism in roller tube) which makes the awning resistant to light winds (maximum 40-50kms) and doesn’t require repair or maintenance to coil springs or gas struts. The awning is also available with lightweight posts when existing structures are not available. Powered with Somfy motors, the awning can be paired with Somfy rain, sun and wind sensors or linked with the TaHoma Hub for optional voice and app control.
