Horiso External Venetian Blind slats can be tilted up to 160 degrees, providing you complete control over sunlight and UV heat reduction. The Horiso External Venetian Blind can reduce heat by up to 90%, glare by 99% and is a popular shading solution for achieving a Green Star™ rating.

    Frequently asked questions.

    The tilting action of the blades allows for reduction of glare while also allowing maximum light, reducing artificial lighting costs. Slats can also allow for more privacy than screen blinds.

    Choosing not to have a pelmet is an option but it’s advised to ensure blinds can be retracted and kept safe from strong winds. Instead of a pelmet the blind can retract into a purpose build recess.

    We would advise all External Venetian Blinds are fitted with a wind sensor that would retract them in winds above 40kms
