A robust shade solution was required for this coastal home located in Perth’s spectacular North Beach.

Our recommendation was to install the Horiso External Motorised Rack Arm Shutters for the gable openings on the verandah and the Retractable HMX Outdoor Blinds for the lower openings. The combination of these systems was ideal for the challenging coastal environment, where wind and corrosion were key factors in the design and product selections.

Custom steel work was incorporated, ensuring functionality and durability in the salty, high-wind conditions. Automation, paired with wind sensors, ensures that the shades retract when necessary, providing ease of use for the homeowners.
